The Department of Labor has issued a Notice of Availability of Funds and Funding Opportunity Announcement (NOFA) for states to apply for Apprenticeship program funding. The funding comes in two parts: Base Formula Funding ($50 million) available to all states and territories that apply and an opportunity to apply separately for additional competitive funding ($35 million). The competitive portion of the NOFA specifies a range of potential activities, including planning and implementing a pay for performance model.
